poems and photo

new art
raindrops on hosta flowers
almost in bloom

renewal
red begonia planter
on ash tree stump

seasons repeat
we tell the stories
we are given

growing older
daylilies in bloom
everywhere these days

simple meal
with grace, joy
and love

Karl took this peaceful photo at the Parnell Tower Trail park in the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit.  We stopped by last Sunday, and hope to return to walk the trail.

FLOW

FLOW – today’s one-word prompt

Life grows and changes, asks for new adjustments, offers new beauty as well; and sometimes in the middle of the most challenging times.  I still remember the autumn outside my mother’s hospital window in 2003.  How she loved Milwaukee.  Often I am very slow to learn a new time, and I often think what a comfort blogs would have been.

Grateful for our blogs, and so many ways to grow here.  One post at a time.
