The sun appeared a short time ago, 6:35 AM.  The days grow shorter and the landscape begins to look towards October.  Trees are displaying fall colors, and soybean fields are turning gold.  The light is different, and so beautiful.

As I read for a few hours this morning, I watched the light and the trees.  The birch tree has a few gold leaves, and a few green and gold leaves.

Blue sky and wind . . .

Autumn begins here in two weeks, on September 22.  This morning I could sense a pause, and that soon there will be more change.
