colors in the garden

carrots, cabbage
spinach, radishes
and faded flower bouquets
food on the snow
for a rabbit


When snow covered the garden, the rabbit found the bark on branches from the cotoneaster that were bowed to the ground.  The bushes need to be pruned anyway.

Late August


These small orange wildflowers and the goldenrod are beginning to change, to fade.  There are two roses beyond my reach.
