sunrise

I saw the sun rising, soon after 5 AM. Grey clouds with pink colors around the edges, and blue sky.

June 2

The pattern of clouds is beautiful, with plenty of room for light. No wind, branches are still.

Creative Notes and Poems

For some time, I have followed Imagery of Light Photography by Sheila Creighton. I enjoyed her post for May 7, 2019: Forsythia Glow. As you may recall, on May 6, 2019, I wrote:

after a warm day
and worth the wait
forsythia

I have always lived in the Midwest. Another site I follow is SUNEARTHSKY Meditations from the Midwest, by Sharon Knight.

The sunrise today recalls a poem from my archives:

pink clouds
span the horizon
seagulls take flight
stretching to read
new books

Thank you
for all the wonderful posts I view every day.
