September Beauty

There are a few more gold leaves on our birch tree. A few poems from my September archives:

stars in the night
and colors
of garden mums
in the rain . . .
new poems begin

golden sun
on gold leaves
unconditional love

seagulls
down the beach
silver in the sky

twenty years
and more
since I came here
soybean fields
now gold

Creative Notes and Photos

These are photos from the WordPress.com free photo library. I am beginning to recognize the work of a few artists there, and I learn more every week. Inspiration for the seasons.

This year, I also devoted time to research for the 2020 series at Poems From Psalms And Nature: short selections from The Psalms, with pictures. Now I plan to create a page there with links back to the posts, for new readers and all readers. The pictures for the Psalms series are from different sources.

poems

poems can tell stories
they might begin in one place
and by the end of the poem
the poet and reader
are in another place
a poem can also save
one moment like a photo
as one season grows
to another – the beauty
of this day
