November rain

November rain
summer visits to parks
are memories

stored in photos
blog posts

as a verse
from the Psalms
stays in my heart
during hard times
stored there
during easier

strength and beauty
for the soul

I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

Psalm 18:1 (KJV)

Three Poems

cup of coffee
by the water
this day to God

leaves of bleeding hearts
now gold
so do broken hearts mend
so does grief heal
Autumn grace

on the horizon
all the goals
I can still
try to reach

we know
we have found
our home

when the same

our hearts deeply

as birds quietly sing

losses in life
low setting sun
through branches of trees
now rises again
as birds quietly sing

Psalm 1: 3 (KJV) :

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

morning coffee
with pink clouds
floating in sky
