Sunday: photos and poems

Geranium – photo by Karl

Three poems from my archives:

*

all afternoon
the sounds
squirrel harvesting
pine cones

*

trimming the stems
of carnations
and giving them
fresh water
October sun

*

strong cold winds

leaves fall
reveal shapes
of trees

light falls
into the house
as sun moves south

red geraniums
still bloom

October turns
to face November

*

Photos are by Karl.

Poems are by Ellen Grace Olinger.
