Karl and I have been catching up with some yard work. Yesterday he pruned our cotoneaster and weeded. Still many perennials, just a little more room to breathe.
This morning I saw steam rising from Lake Michigan. I learned awhile ago this means the water is warmer than the air.
One day I was holding a cup of hot coffee in a cool room, and as steam rose from the coffee, I finally understood this in a concrete way.
