Christmas Carols

Yesterday, Karl and I went to the Fountain Park Family Restaurant on 8th Street in Sheboygan.  We especially enjoy the homemade soups at our favorite restaurants.  Where I sat, I saw a Christmas tree that was also reflected in a nearby mirror.  A group of young people from a music program asked to sing carols in the restaurant.  Their music brought tears to my eyes.  Quiet drive back to Oostburg.  When I was looking through my mother’s papers, after her passing in 2004, I learned that she had given a speech somewhere on 8th street long ago.  She loved English literature and composition.
