Winter Haiku

Beachgrass

We are continuing to share copies of Quiet Christmas Poetry, which is listed on the books page at Time Of Singing.  On the kitchen table, we have several notes from others about the book.  I treasure them, and also your kind comments.  Karl’s photo of our winter beach makes the book special.

We included some quiet poems for winter in general.

graze in starlight

wind freeing the snow
from evergreen branches
waterfalls

sun spotlights
snowflakes on the window
falling stars

tree branches
and winter white sky

  1. We had FOUR deer feeding on a line of shrubs in our back yard two nights ago. It was a full moon, they were calmly munching away. We stood at back picture window, mesmerized by the simple beauty.
