Sunday blessings

Yesterday, Karl and I went to Mead Public Library in Sheboygan.  We had not been there for a time, and we both found interesting books to bring home.  I was again so impressed with how much they do for the community.  We also enjoyed a good meal at Fountain Park Family Restaurant, near the library.

  1. On cold, foggy, snowy days like yesterday in Colorado, my favorite thing to do is go to the Old Colorado City Library, search (and find) wonderful books, and then walk across the park for French Onion Soup and hard rolls at La Baguette Cafe.
In the winter, nothing works better than feeding our bodies and minds in warm, friendly places!

  2. Thank you for your visit. Glad you liked “Healing In Affliction”. Both you and your husband do complement each other with your poems and his photography. God’s blessings. Iris

  3. I had no idea there were yellow azaleas. When our nurseries begin getting their spring stock, I’m going to have a look and see if I can’t find a little one to pot up for my balcony.

  4. Great post, sounds like many of us Wisconsin dwellers follow the same path; library, book stores, museum’s, however it is time Mother Nature shows her happy face. Continue to love your site. ajm
