LikeLike Franklin was right: they should have been designated the national bird. LikeLike Lovely simplicity – Ellen. LikeLike I guess they need a runway to get off the ground. 🙂 LikeLike Interesting creatures aren’t they? Margie LikeLike “They walk then fly” reminds me of our coots, who seem to “walk” across the water while they’re desperately trying to take off. Once in the air they look graceful enough, if a little amusing, but their take-off is hilarious. LikeLike Good morning, Ellen – hope you are waking to sunshine and blue skies – we are gray and cold today- I love seeing the wild turkeys – we have lots along our ridge – always a treat to see wild creatures. Have a beautiful day! K LikeLike I was always thrilled when I saw wild turkeys on the back roads in New York State. LikeLike Comments are closed.
