Time Of Singing ~ Summer 2012

The new Time Of Singing (Volume 39, Number 2), a beautiful print journal, arrived yesterday.  Lora Homan Zill is the editor.  I’m happy and honored that three of my poems are included.  Lora offered good suggestions.

  1. To be able to sing in the Dog Days of August…. must come from some divine gift… What a joy to read your poetry on these days that sap so much from us… I hope you are cooler there than it is here. It’s been a long summer… I’m so thrilled to see everyone making it through.

  2. There is such dignity and peace in this, Ellen–but that seems to be your trademark often! God bless you this Lord’s Day–love, Caddo

  3. Love the poem. Dare I say that the trumpet vines I experience as an allusion to the trumpet of resurrection. The two images of faith are deeply meaningful, especially the one concerning moon and cloud. Thanks so much.
