Letters Become Words

Language continues to amaze me.  Yesterday, I read aloud from the Psalms, and also poems by Emily Dickinson, Luci Shaw, and Madeleine L’Engle.   I reflected more upon God’s promises and time–good things in my life that have taken many many years to grow.   Hope and trust in God that other things will grow from here too.

I also like to read aloud
for the joy of language in and of itself.

Rhymes,
structure,
new words
for my short poems.

“In the beginning was the Word…”  (John 1:1).
