Everyday life is a beautiful gift. Today I returned library books and then went to Festival Foods, to buy some fruit, flowers, and a few other things. They have check-outs where they bag your groceries, where you bag, etc. A young person welcomed me, and I said, “I see I have to bag my own groceries here. I guess I can handle that with these few items.” I’m laughing again as I type this. I routinely wear my glasses now for the charge machines.
However, I do not ever see myself wanting to check my self out, run all the items through the scanners etc.
I saw gardens so beautifully cultivated with all the flowers. I admired the work and art. Then I saw the wildflowers in fields, which is my style. How wonderful the variety and gifts.
On another topic, if you have not visited Marylin Warner’s site, you may wish to stop by sometime. Her site is called Things I Want To Tell My Mother.
This is the link to Marylin’s new post, Flower Girls. http://warnerwriting.wordpress.com/2013/08/24/flower-girls
